Sue asks if coordinate geometry is “real” geometry. What do you think?

Coordinate Geometry is also called analytic geometry and is a very important part of geometry. I guess the people who have written thousands of books and articles on the subject think it is real. Certainly Rene DeCartes thought it real.

yes i think coordinate geometry is real geometry in the same way gravity is real physics
