Hypothetically, a terrorist attack at a Super Bowl type event would result in W. standing in front of the moldering ruins and telling America to go out and buy season tickets for all of their local teams ... his approval ratings go up when he can tell the rest of the world "we're not afraid of you"

Game attendance might be done a couple of games after that, and TV ratings on the game up.

But if the federal government tries to take more control by putting in a bunch of regulations like they have done at Airports. There might be and all out revolution in this country.

They meaning the government might have succeeded it taking more control at the airports but American sports fans are not going to put up with that crap when they want to go see a game.
Major difference between sports fan going to games and the people who mostly fly.
People who mostly fly are the so called elite class who as a rule are spineless.
People who go the games are mostly working class with a hell of a lot more backbone. And they are not going to let a little thing like a terrorist attack or the federal government from stopping them going and seeing a game.

Men would spend Sunday afternoons with their families and their wives and children. They'd communicate and play and do fun things together. Wow. It's a more beautiful world already!
