To solve tensions between Iran and America, maybe we should switch leaders? Hold one as our president (and hostage.) and vice versa?

If one messes up, the other one can unleash hell on the other country, not to mention they would be very closely watched by those in that leader's host country. Bush would not be pro war while being surrounded by the so called enemy, and the Iranians would not screw up cause we can rain down destruction on them. And vice versa. Holding leaders hostage is an old idea. It is me taking it to the extreme. Plus it is based on a Piers Anthony Novel (Layer Cake I believe.)

I used to read Piers Anthony! LOL

Actually, it might work....if nothing else, *both* leaders would get a great exposure to the other's culture and maybe it would help.

Holding leaders hostage has never been done that I'm aware of. Their family, perhaps, but not the leaders themselves.

Anyway, leaders have learned a lot about the value of personal sacrifice, personal risk, and integrity since then, so they don't go in for that kinda thing anymore.

this question exhibits that no longer a lot of human beings easily study the Bible. i'm no longer a Christian yet one verse i'm able to believe from the Bible. Ecclesiastes 10:19 A ceremonial dinner is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: yet money answereth all issues. Now watch some bitter puss Christian come alongside and destroy my exciting and twist that verse into something depressing and crappy! I say, devour, drink, and be merry with a lot of money! WhooHoo!

The question I just posed is nuttier!

Um, since Iraq has very little infrastructure in their government I doubt Bush could help them much.

But it would be an eye opener for the Iraqi President if he came here and saw how poorly things were run in Congress.

Crazy. I know I want a president who would gladly wipe out Israel if he had nukes to fire on them with.
