3 months as she was born in September and I wanted photos for Christmas gifts.
She did also have the standard hospital shot taken at a couple of days old.

I normally have my babies' professional photos taken when they are 6 months old. The reason for this are: the baby can already sit up and will not be very difficult to manage ( because he's not anymore that wobbly); at 6 months, he can respond when you say "smile"-- and you just might get the best pic; the baby's eyes are more developed now, not very much sensitive to the lights coming form the camera shots. Enjoy your baby!

2 weeks! I wanted to make sure that I got some good pics of her while she was still an infant. Her next professional pics I plan on getting done are going to be for Halloween! Then Christmas! Good luck.

2 days old.
They came into the hospital and took them. Then every 4 month until one. Then at 18 months and then 2 years old.
They took some great photo's!! I have a massive wall full of photo's of them.

He had them done in the hospital.
Then we did them at 3 months, 6months and I plan on doing them again at 9 and 12 months!!!
I went to JC Penny's and spent $35.00-$55.00 for tons of photos for Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles.. They always have coupons!
Good Luck! It's soooo FUN!

Well, with my first it was 11 months and with my second it was 12 days! I think somewhere in between is a great compromise :)
