I had always given Ted hersheys for dessert every nite til i learned that chocolate could kill him. Now he dosen't speak to me. I've tried giving him ice cream but he just tips the bowel over and walks away. I miss my sleepin' buddy. How can i make amends to my best friend?

Get yourself a girlfriend.
They are usually quite tolerant of chocolate.
Also you might revisit the "Chocolate deadly to Dogs" thing since your pooch seems to have survived perfectly well on it.
Though, JFTR, giving sweets to dogs is not a good idea. And while we're on the subject - not so good for you either.
