I've seen quite a few and the most interesting ones are the ones where there are girls pretending to be guys and then all of a sudden it's revealed that they're actually girls and then everybody acts shocked.
Anybody know any animes like this aside from Ranma?

o.k. don't be dissn the yaoi, but if u don't like it, that's O.K. secondly, holy friggin cow, uve only seen ranma? there's Inuyasha, Tenchi Muyo, Spiral, Blue Gender, Negima, Naruto, Kiddy Grade, One Peice, Full Metal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Samarai X. stop me now, cause there's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more. sorry, i'm more into manga than i am anime so i can't really think of any that come to mind besides romeoxjuliet, which starts out with juliet pretending to be a guy. there are some manga that have similar story lines to what you're looking for:
hana kimi
tokyo crazy paradise
and in w juliet a guy pretends to be a girl.

Ouran High School Host club all the way! It's about a Haruhi Fujoka, who is a scholarship student at a prestigious high school. She is pulled into the host club to repay debts, and is mistaken for guy. If she can bring in 100 customers, her debt will be cleared! I love this anime to death! ^-^
