If you buy quality thread, then maybe $10. It all depends on the type and the quality of the thread, hon.~

Is this good thread or junk thread? Is it new or old? Is it on plastic spools or nicely-finished wooden ones?

50 spools of junk thread on plastic spools are currently marketed for $1 some places and carded with needles and a needle-threader.

A vintage sewing kit might sell for $5-25 without all of the spools being full.

Are you buying or selling? Will it be used as intended, displayed or re-purposed? There's a craft market for empty wooden spools.

I'd pay most if I needed a vintage set for either recent historical recreation or a theatrical property.

Is it for a sewing machine? I buy good thread like Gutermann, and I use coupons or shop sales, so I pay $2.00 per spool. But that's because I sew for a living and my thread MUST perform.
