Arrogant and superficial -- nothing. Those qualities have no effect on whether a juror can evaluate evidence as presented, and then determine if that evidence fits the legal standard that they are required to apply. It may affect how the get along with other jurors -- but so can many other personality traits.

Careless is bad, because very often a proper verdict requires paying proper careful attention to specific evidence and specific rules -- so being careless could mean the verdict may be improper.
