I have! My hometown was really close to the "Home of Rocky Mountain Oysters." I was scared, but honestly, they were pretty good. Most things that are deep fried are :) Try them if you get a chance, they are really no more gross than any other part of the cow if you think about it.

They are male calf testicles. And Yes I have eaten them. Actually I have a bag of them in my freezer. I should deep fat fry them up for the family in a couple of weeks to use them up. They taste like chicken gizzards and are delicious. Here they have something they call a "Nut and Gut Feed" down at the local VFW club every spring to raise money for local charities and they serve Rockie Mountain Oysters, Steak fingers and lots of salads and homemade pie. Anything else you want to know???

Mountain oysters are pig testicles also.

I did not know what they were at the time, but they were not that bad.
My father-in-law loved them.
