They are just a waist of time, spouting out rubbish the idealists want to hear. they have as much chance as getting elected as I have of having a tartan poo.

"waist of time"

Age has nothing to do with it.

Historically, both the Tory and Liberal parties have done nothing what-so-ever to improve the lot of the working class.

Only the Labour Party has ever done anything for the people.

The creation of the Welfare State, including the NHS, was entirely the result of having a Labour government in power from 1945-1950. In that short period our Labour UK.gov managed to create the NHS, put in place the world's very first ever Welfare State [taking care of the people from the cradle to the grave], built our first ever Nuclear Power stations and turned UK Limited into a nuke power with it's own atom bombs the lot.

LibDems talk a load of high-falootin crap if you ask me. None of what they ever say seems to have anything what-so-ever to do with ordinary people. The problems in our cities are not being address by either the Tories or the LibDems.

Only Labour is addressing the problems of our inner cities and only Labour will ever do anything about it. It was Labour that got rid of the slums and it is Labour which will bring improvements to the quality of life or our people.

All the LibDems ever waffle on about is taxing the rich. The rich do not pay tax and ever have. Their money is abroad somewhere and untouchable by the UK tax collectors.

In any event, it's the rich who make things happen. Forget about tax and get on with life.

Well, at least if the Democrats had more say in government then more money would go to education rather than war, and your question might not be riddled with errors. For starters, look up "waist" in the dictionary (it's the big fat book that has lists of words and their definitions).

"as much chance of getting elected" -- you mean, aside from the majority in Congress...from the last election.

Besides, there really aren't that many liberals in the upper ranks of the Democratic party anymore -- very few of the Democratic party goals are truly liberal -- most are some form of socialism, which is directly opposed by the liberal model which requires a free market economy (capitalism).
