Hi,
A long time; it has been a stressful year ... a stressful life! The worst time for me when we were trying to sell our house as interest rates were too high and all the businesses I worked for were going bust lasted four to five years. I was terrified of the future and how we were going to cope. Incredibly to ease the stress I went back to school! (University). Took a degree course and that along with being self-employed, bringing up three kids and housework kept me from dwelling too long on my worries. We got through and my son tells me he had no idea how bad it was at the time, we hid it well. That surprised me. This year has been constant stress and anxiety. When the family around me are struggling financially, I try to help out but that puts a strain on me. It's like going all over it again but trying to cushion their stress because I know what they're going through. My future daughter-in-law has gone cold on me ... she is jealous of how close our family is and the lies she used to tell that were suspected-lies have now become blatant lies to cause trouble between us all. I worry about her emotional health. My son's on active service overseas and I won't ever relax til he comes home safely. Can't remember when I felt relieved from stress. For the first time in my life I actually went to doctor's for help though still feel wound-up inside. I'm starting to think I've got 49 years of tension and anxiety built-up in me so it's going to take some time I think to find peace of mind. I don't know if I should post this; maybe I've been too personal. Sounds depressive but through it all I stay hopeful, positive and offer a cheerful face to the world.

Usually when things pile up after time when I feel the most anxious and stressful . It has been building up for a long time and then it is at that time when I will explode or I will leave and be by myself and calm down and meditate and come back and face the problems and solve them to the best of my ability.

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway
