Ok, I have an album on my iTunes and the order of all the songs on that album is perfect. Then, I bought a bonus song from that same album at the iTunes store and iTunes listed it as the last song on the album.

But when I updated my iPod, the bonus song i bought is on the top of the album listed as the first song. when on iTunes it's the last song.

I also have this problem on a couple other albums.

Does anybody know how i can fix this?

***I GUARANTEE you 10 points if you can help me fix this***

Thanks.

right-click on the song, select get info, and under the second heading (called info), there should be a place to change the artist, album, track number, composer, etc...

Make sure that the track numbers are how you want them to be.

make sure that all the lines of text are the same, except for the song name and the track number. If this is different then itunes sometimes lists them differently.

Also make sure that if one line is filled in on one song, that line is filled in on the other songs as well. It is likely that a line of text (such as album artist) is missing one one song, and is there on the others.

Failing that, if there is a seemingly random string of numbers in the comments section on some of the songs, delete that.

hope that helped.

I'm not entirely sure if this is the problem, but when you're arranging your playlists in iTunes and want that order reflected in your iPod and vice versa:

1) Arrange your tracks in the order you want in iTunes.

2) Right-click the playlist on your iPod and select "Click to Play Order." Then whatever order your songs are in with iTunes will be played as such on the iPod.

I hope that helps. That type of thing usually happens to me when I forget to fix my order.

Also, try to edit the ID3 Tags by double-clicking in the column of the information you want to change for that track (this can be done in iTunes). Then as you edit the song information, iTunes will rearrange the tracks accordingly, at which point you have to "Copy to Play Order" again.

Go To iTunes.
Right click on that song.
Select Get Info.
Click on the Info tab.
Where it says Track of put in the next number

for exapmle:
if the cd has 10 tracks type in track 11 of 10

and that should fix your problem

Try editing the songs ID3 tag.

Songs from albums are usually numbered so they play in the right order. If the bonus song has the wrong number, it would make them appear out of order, as it would with any album.

The only way I know how to edit these would be through Winamp (as it's what I use) but try the source link below as it deals with Itunes.
