I lived a reckless life style from about 20 until I was 60. I smoked, drank heavily, did recreational drugs in my 30's, and was very sexually involved when I should not have been. I am lucky I do not have AIDS. I now have emphysema and congestive heart failure. Yeah my friend, a reckless life stylee can cost you your health, family and relationships. Cool it we only are here for a short time. Make it a great time without living a reckless life style.

My ex was like that. He was a methadone addict (for various reasons) yet he was very personable and a fantastic artist so much so he made a living from it. He used to say he was born the wrong side of sober. He meant that what would take me to become happy he would need twice as much. He believed that was what made him such a good artist, he was able to look at the world in a different way to most people.

I wish I had an answer for this one! Someone I love dearly has an addiction to drugs. He is brilliant, everyone that meets him loves him his personality is outstanding but every 3-6 months he goes out and literally puts himself on the edge of deaths bed to get high for a couple of days. His life is great, he is in love has a beautiful lil boy a great job and a woman that loves him and cares for him. Its insane, he has had treatment many times, therapy, psychiatrists and rehabs. All the issues have been talked about til he was blue in the face. Don't know what makes him tick and neither does he.

The unique thing about life is that it consists of choices. We can be influenced by outside forces, but the choice always remains ours. Yes you can live a reckless lifestyle if you choose to do so. A word of caution though. What so ever a man soweth that shall he also reap. The Lord says " I put before you, Life and Death, Blessings and Cursings". Then He responds by saying, " Choose Life".

I led a really reckless lifestyle when I was in college. I became an alcoholic, I contracted 2 STD's and I had sex with an animal while drunk. I also got a tatoo on my butt.

I also alienated all my good friends and family with my behavior.

But I would do it all over except fot the tattoo.

How many times are you going to ask the same question, and how many aliases do you have? You must be talking about yourself!

Are you STILL out there fishing away for compliments then?
