Sports figures with unsportsmanlike behavior seem to dominate our playing fields. From cruel activities off the field (Vick) to questions about steroids and other drugs (Bonds) it has gotten to the point where even the trophies are not valued.

Yeah, there are. I'm sure to be fair though, once there are more women, there's some "bad girls too" :)
I'm glad Nike canceled Vick's contract, it's time that pro athletes learn they're not above the law. Remember a few years ago a player tried to strangle his own coach? Don't remember? That's because he wasn't punished (ok, maybe he was fined $5k, but hey look, no jail time for an assault).
And look at how parents and kids act in all those little league and soccer fights you see on the news all too often. They see the big guys get away with it and they think if it is in the name of "sport" it's ok to be outrageous.
I don't even attend pro sporting events that often, my money going to fuel their behavior? No way, I expect them to act the same as I act, considerate and law-abiding, regardless of their profession. A little judgmental, maybe, but I hope if I was making a few million $ a year to play a GAME I would have the sense to appreciate it and act decently.
