Going deaf. I'm a musician- if I can't hear the music I'm playing (viola) or singing (alto-tenor), how am I supposed to make a living? I also live for music. I basically listen to it 16 hours per day.
I think the second worst would be going blind- there are so many amazing things I have yet to see in the world. Also, having to rely on people and trust them completely, just so you don't get accidentally deceived into stepping in the middle of a busy road.

I am afraid of... being alone, losing one of my children, not seeing my purpose clear enough to fulfill it, and, um, wild bears when I'm camping...since the email I got about the bear found with 2 hunters and 1 hiker in his belly. It was kinda freaky.

Having another bout of respiratory failure and not being able to breath , I"ve had many to the point of turning blue and blacking out , I can't think of anything to compare that too except a loved one or friend with the same problem , then I would prefer it be me .

I can't think of one thing that I am actually afraid of...face life as tho today is my last day; don't have time to worry about what I might be afraid of........

My dearest Fran,,,I am not really "afraid",,,,it's just that rejection is so difficult to handle that I sometimes fail to pursue those things I most enjoy in life.

this may seem weird to everyone else....but here it goes.
I'm scared of God not being real, after me dying, finding out that no one was looking over me, keeping me safe, making my life the most it was. I'm scared of life, how it might not be what it is cut out to be, and it not being the greatest thing ever. I'm scared of being the only person left on Earth at some point in time. I'm scared of not falling in love. I'm scared of not finding someone to love and someone to love me. I'm scared of losing my friends. I'm scared of losing my family. I'm scared of not being able to live until I'm 50. I'm scared of not getting to live to get married, have kids, watch them grow up, watch them graduate, watch them get married and have kids. I'm scared of the world coming to an end sooo soon. I'm scared of a lot of things. But most of all, I'm scared of dying and having no one remembering me.
