Traditionally, the French Revolution is said to have ended in 1799, when Napoleon Bonaparte became First Consul of the Republic.

I could see two answers to this. For several years following the "The Declaration of the Rights of Man" in August of 1789 France found itself at war with other European countries such as Austria and Prussia, whose rulers feared chaos in France would eventually spread to their own countries. During the years of 1793-1794 "The Terror" was taking place, where those judged to be subversives of the Revolution were tried and executed (estimated that around 40,000 were killed). The end of The Terror is one possible answer. You might also say the French Revolution itself ended in 1799 with the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte as "First Consul" (Emperor by 1804), as this would signal the official end to the first French monarchy.

History is really too complicated to condense down into perfect answers, but I hope this at least gives you some guidance.

It ended with Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo. Look it up and write the rest yourself.
