when viewing a friends myspace I was insturcted to download a myspace profile viewer to proceed after I did this everytime I log onto the internet I am getting the startup page Browseitnow.net how can I get rid of the myspace profile viewer. I have looked under add and remove programs not there but there is a icon on my wallpaper any ideas will be appreciated. I have also tried to change my startup to yahoo but it always goes back to the other one help!!

Browser highjacking is a trait of Spyware.
You can download and run a couple of antispyware applications to remove it.
Address one, below is to the download page for Adaware.
And address two is for Spybot.

under start menu it should be under there if not check in unzipped folders if u downloaded it as a zip folder: unzipped folder is in c drive from my computer
if still not then i have no clue so sorry. u could always just use a diff. internet if still happening. i.e. mozilla or internet explorer. ask geek squad if problem persists
