Get ready to cry....

"Pictures of You" by The Cure

Story behind it:

This song was really popular when this event happened. This girl and I were really good friends. I hooked her and one of my other good guy friend up together.

Turns out they weren't as good a match as I hoped. He treated her like crap and I felt so guilty. I confronted him about it and damn near whipped his @ss. I told him that he better be grateful for having a wonderful girl like her in his life.

That night we got together to go back to my place to watch movies with my girlfriend and I. She picked us all up in her car to head back. He chose that moment to break up with her. She was so distraught that she sped down this winding road following a river that led back to my apartment.

She took a curve too fast and jumped the embankment launching us into the air and wrapping us around a tree. She was killed instantly.

That night after I was released from the hospital I went back to my apartment. On my refrigerator underneath a magnet was my one and only picture of her. And that's all I had left of her. All I could do was cry...........
