The other day we turned on our Wii and went to the Wii Plaza and there was a strange Mii walking around. It wasn't one we created. Just wondering how you interact with that Mii?

Okay guys, that makes sense.... but once you have "the friend's Wii" on the screen, how do you interact with them?

You are probably thinking of the Mii Parade.
The Mii Plaza is the place where all of "your" Miis are shown. That is, Miis that you have created or you have brought over from the Mii Parade.
The Mii Parade is a walking set of Miis that have been downloaded online that were made by people on your Wii's friend list.
To bring a Mii from the Parade to the Plaza, select them and choose to bring them to the Plaza.

Mii Plaza is where your created Mii's walk around and interact. If you got the Wii used then this would make sense.
The other explanation is that you are not in Mii Plaze but in Mii Parade. Mii Parade is where Mii's from other people's Wii come to your Wii over the internet. The people must be on your Friends List to do this though, and vice versa.

circulate to the calender on the backside left of the homestead exhibit screen, click on the handle e book on the backside top, then it shows your wii code, then click new pal or some thing like that.
