Job Security! Signing with the WWE, you'll likely have a job even if you are misued as a jobber and millions of fans will watch you weekly, not just the fans in attendance at the arena.
TNAs' ratings had remained flat or slightly gained a tenth of a point over time, in the view of the wrestlers who work there, they weren't growing fast enough and when newer guys from the WWE are signed like crazy, there is less job security in that company. They will need to cut costs and who are they going to start with ... exWWE wrestlers or original TNA wrestlers? When you ask yourself that and know that new hires have more job security than you do as an ex TNA Champion, it's time to open up negotiations elsewhere.

His contract ran out with TNA. He did go to WWE, however as of right now he's on leave of absence due to a family member being sick.

marcus cor von has been released...he has been dealing with family issues before his release....i hope to see marcus cor von back in wwe again.
tna failed to capitilize on the alpha males popularity, he was promised in his contract a tna championship run, but then they turned him into a slacky and he wanted a change...
