I had friends that moved from Colorado to Australia. They could only take what they could fit in their suitcases which was mostly important items. The only clothes they had were th ones on their back plus one change of clothes! They have 6 kids ages 9-newborn! They were stuffing dippers into the kids pockets and putting expensive jewelry on the girls.
The family stayed with us since they sold their house and had nowhere to go. They are now happy in Australia.

This is the closest thing to a commitment I have had so far. Sell up because you won't need anything over here. I will loan you the second kangaroo to drive around town and I will personally kill and skin a whole heap of cute koalas to create an appropriate wardrobe for you. During the day you will be required to clean and maintain my hut and catch the occasional crocodile for dinner. In the evenings I will serenade you with my didgeridoo (read into that what you will) before throwing the leg over, as we so quaintly put it in the colonies.

If it's somthing you feel is right then do it! cause you know you will never get the chance to change things when other things arise!

No, but it sounds like a true adventure and life experience. I moved from the midwest to the south. I know it's not the same, but the move did me some good. My spirit kept telling me to go and I belived and went. I'm so happy I took that chance.

Never sold everything but definitely moved on a whim and more than once. Never regretted it. Do it while your single without kids. Life's an adventure. Do it.

Heck if you can afford to do it, go for it. Not everyone has the guts (or the means) to follow their path.
If I didn't have bills, or as many as I do have right now, I'd chuck it all and move to London.
Go for Australia, you can always come visit Sunny CA :)
