can someone help me with this?
i have to choose an answer.
To show the correct shape of land areas on the earth you would use a:
a) Mercator map
b) Mollweide map
c) broken projection map

It appears from the web pages that I've linked below that the broken projection map gives the truest shapes.

Marcator is badly distorted. Mollweide is closer, but without breaking the projection, you don't get good shapes for the land masses.
