Yes and no. Obviously, there are several breeds of whale. If the whale is on the endangered species list, then the answer is no. (Obviously, there will be no Blue Whale or Humpback served on the plates.) There are a few breeds of whale that are not on the endangered species list. Legally, you can hunt and sell them. However, it does not mean that the meat may taste good. Also, there is not much of a market for such in the United States. (There is a fish and a mammal that share the same name: Dolphin. The Dolphin Fish is now called Mahi-Mahi in US restaurants.)

Good luck on your search for whale on the menu at a restauraunt!

I was at this restaurant the other day and I saw this huuuuuuuuuggggge whale there. I was so hungry- I had just sat down with my buddy and all of the sudden I turned to my left and there was this girl that had pig tails and must have been at least 320 lbs. She had a shirt on that read, "FEED ME". I suddenly lost my appetite and puked all over the place.
