Actually, I doubt that anyone here is familiar with one of my faves. It's a duet with Cher; remake of a VERY old song, "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" (made famous by Sinatra)--though I like everything he's done, MANDERZ :) "Forever Young" and "I Wish That I Knew What I Know Now...", along with "Maggie May" are others that I consider his best!!!

Not a big Rod Stewart fan but I think "Downtown Train" is probably my favorite song of his, even though I like Maggie May.

I like most of Stewart's work, but these three are at the front of the pack.

Every Picture Tells a Story - Just a great upbeat rocker.

The Killing of Georgie - The best (IMHO) of Stewart's "sad" songs.

Tonight's the Night - It's romantic and coming-of-age all at once. I never get tired of this one.

MANDOLIN WIND from the same album that had MAGGIE MAY. Love MAGGIE MAY and HANDBAGS & GLADRAGS, too. DOWNTOWN TRAIN is good, too.

However, I love MANDOLIN WIND so much that I named my purebred Siberian Husky "Mandolin Wynde" because she was from the Bleu Wynde kennels. Her hair was the same color as Rod Stewart's but not as unmanageable, LOL!
