Looking for a brand new desktop pc for 200 to 250 dollars. any place to get one?

I have seen some for as little as $300, but not any less. Try looking at----Pricewatch.com-----Wal mart has some for about $300 also.

no- but i hear brand new dell desktops can go for about 400-500- maybe even 350

Ummm..... maybe.
Build it yourself using stock-clearance components (buy them all from the same seller to save on carriage and packing costs) and install a Linux operating system. But you won't find one pre-built for that price.

You might be better off looking for used computers on Craigslist or eBay.

good luck finding one, now a days, computers are cheap, but not that much, try walmart, they have some emachines running about 350

just put new graphic card in it asus ati x1950pro pcie
has 3 sata hardrives total 500gig
1 gig of corsair ram...4gigmax
processor is amd opteron 2.2ghz...upgradible 2 x2...or fx
duel core processors....
xp pro fresh install...motherboard is a gigabyte nforce 4 ultra mobo....
dvd rom drive...
has 550wpower supplu unit
ill even though in genuine copy of bioshock pc game with original box...
