Oh my goodness, there are so many good ones I can't answer this question.
I'm thinking of when I watch the Twilight Zone marathon that comes on every year for the new year and how long I'll sit in front of the tv to try to see as many as I can.

My favorite one, is the one that has Burgess Meredith as a bookworm. In a nuclear assult, he is the only one left alive and finds the library. He thinks he has the world, and all of it's books are at his disposal. Then, at the end, he breaks his glasses and can't see. That was a groovy episode, and my favorite. Peace!

The one about the guy who loves to read.
He goes down in the bank vault everyday
to read, undisturbed. One day the world
is blown up, and He is the only one left.
He walks around, and finds the library,
and he is in heaven, all these books to
read, and noone to bother or yell at him
He's blind as a Bat,without his glasses
but he's as happy as a lark, He can read
any book He wants with nobody to bother
him. Until one day, he's reading and
walking, and trips over a rock, breaks
his classes to pieces, sits there and cries
IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S JUST NOT FAIR.

The one where Donna Douglas and some guy are considered "ugly" and are in the hospital undergoing operations to make them look "normal." But when they show at the end what the doctors and nurses looks like, you see that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

"Next Stop, Willoughby." Where the guy has a boss and wife from hell, and on the commuter train home from work, he keeps falling asleep and dreaming that the conductor calls out a stop for Willoughby. It's a very scenic, peaceful town. Finally he's had it with his life, decides he's going to get off at Willoughby, and he's very happy. In the final scene, they're standing over his dead body where he'd thrown himself off the moving train, and the funeral home (Willoughby and Sons) carts him off.
