It had zero impact.

Only the barking right-wing moonbats have their panties in a bunch over it, and they are all going to vote for fascist republicans anyway.

I think it's too early to tell, but their refusal to distance themselves or condemn the comments will certainly make it more difficult for them to spin themselves as military friendly. There's been a general response, but we'll have to wait until it's down to two candidates to see if this issue is used as a club or a rapier. Honestly I think it happened too early, and most people won't remember it in a year's time. Refusal to condemn an indpendent group's slander of a general giving a report just isn't going to stick. I think the major damage done is that the democrats are going to be VERY leery of associating with MoveOn. It removes a bullet from their gun. It's still anybody's ball game, the last three to six months before the election are what sway people. If MoveOn comes up with another attack ad you can be certain that this topic will be revisited.

I didn't think it was THAT big of a deal. I've been waiting for some liberal hack to make that play on words. Aside for the fact that this proved, once and for all, two things I've known for a while, 1: MoveOn.Org hates the military and 2: MoveOn.Org continuously states the obvious as if they were presenting us with golden nuggets of political insight, this is was nothing to me. I expected it. Besides anyone visiting the MoveOn.Org website knows what they're getting anyway. It's like listening to Rush and then being shocked that he makes fun of the Clintons.

To me, it was more shocking and more damaging that Clinton Inc. stood up to General Petraeus, looked him right in the face, and all but called him a liar in front of God and everybody. These people have no shame....

I think the biggest impact will be the fact that the Democratic Candidates have not come out and condemned it. People know that moveon.org is just a bunch of kooks. What is surprising is that Clinton has not come out and condemned them, instead changing the subject whenn asked about it.

Damage? None. MoveOn.org was exercising their right to freedom of speech. I know that is a foreign term to Repubs but perhaps you need to re-read the Constitution.

Heh, democrats hatred? Of people like you who spout off? Yeah, they have that. Though it's not really sad. Besides, Moveon.org isn't representative of Democratic thought. If it was, at least you could be sure the Democrats actually stick to an issue. I wish they could do that much.

The most damage was caused by the Dems not renouncing the ad. When asked about the ad, Hillary diverted the question, Obama diverted the question and Edwards pretended like he never heard of the ad. More than anything it seems that the Dems are held hostage by a f****n website. Why would Americans want this?

It really depends on what the narrow voting bloc known as swing voters AKA moderates think - no? Is this enough to convince them? I am not so sure, but it does point out that Liberals are they're own worst enemies. They give "foot in mouth" a whole new meaning.

The last 20 years I have split my vote between the parties, after this, for 2008 I am going all Repub for spite. I know neither party is great but moveon is a paid hit team of political hacks funded by Soros who doesn't even live in the USA.

i dont think it had any affect on the american people. as 70% of americans want out of iraq. the only people that are up at arms about the move on add are the cons, still drinking kool aid from the right wing talking heads. the majority of american people dont pay attention to politics but they do know that they want to war to end and they know the republicans are all about war and they dont like it.

Zero.

Most (goofy) libs are too ignorant to notice how diabolical and stupid it was let alone notice how poor it will go over in other countries.
