Free thinking controversial?
Like try to think up ways of sorting out the worlds problems & you get angry twisted pointy people. Surely we should all we be asking questions on how to live together peacefully happily?

People really need to re-define their politics, things change new people are born. What happened 50 years ago or 2000 yrs ago for that matter should be adapted to what affects us in our times.

How many laws change all the time. Law should be governable by the people. We should all be made aware of the law & educated in school how to vote for a law & how to influence a law change democratically by vote.

You should read about Communism (I'm serious)!

Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels professed such an ideal world in 'The Communist Manifesto' which was written in the 1840's.

True Communism has nothing to do with the Eastern European war mongering in the 1950' & 60's. It's ideal lies in the belief that everyone, no matter what race is equal and should live as such in a free world with no ruling class.

Sadly such a Utopian existence will never happen because of the power and wealth wielded by the Capitalist west. Unfortunately where there is power and wealth there will always inevitably be conflict.

Edit: While Iv'e got my history head on, I think that in todays world the words of John Dalberg-Acton have never been so true... and I quote

“And remember, where you have a concentration of power in a few hands, all too frequently men with the mentality of gangsters get control. History has proven that. All power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Good observation, trueteller. Sadly, the world is overrun with money and war hungry guerillas that hide behind titles in government. If there is genuine "peace," that means the filthy rich would have to share with the poor, we'd have to play fair with the oil, no country would be without clean running water, gun toting extremists would be eliminated, thieves wouldn't have to rob or steal...gosh, we wouldn't recognize the place we live in! I believe the leaders of countries have the power to establish peace, in whatever conflict, but no one wants to sacrifice, apologize, or play fair. Until the leaders agree, turmoil will reign.
