When I ovulate I can feel it, so I know the exact date it happens. I ovulated Aug. 29th and that was also the date I had sex with (my now ex-bf). He came inside of me, and we did NOT use a condom. My period always comes exactly 2 weeks after I ovulate, like clock-work and I dont miss periods. I am now a week late, and Im a little concernced about being pregnant... I am also experiencing some symptoms such as swollen & growing breasts, increased appetite, weight gain and a few others. As a person who hasn't ever missed a period, and due to the fact that he DID come inside of me, on the day of my ovulation, what are the chances that I am pg or that my body is just changing?

You could very well be pregnant, considering the fact that you had unprotected sex. If your period is usually very "reliable," then that could be your #1 sign. But, their could be psychological reasons behind your missed period. If you know you were ovulating and you had unprotected sex, you may be worried sick about being pregnant. If so, that type of stress and anxiety CAN cause you to miss a period, have irritated breasts, and change in appetite.

My recommendation--go take a hot bath, relax, have your favorite drink. When you feel ready, take some time to think about how you want to involve your boyfriend in this situation. Once you've made up your mind, go to the pharmacy and get a take-home pregnancy test. Tell your boyfriend if you want to, or talk with your mom or a close friend.

Whatever you decide to do: take care of yourself!

It is very likely that you could be pregnant. Wait another day or so, and take a home pregnancy test.

If you are not confident in a home test, go to your local planned parenthood and get a blood test for about $20.

Let's hope your're not preggo. If so, I'm sorry it's with your Ex, since that will cause problems. If you aren't pregnant, you seriously need to practice safer sex.

If you had sexual intercourse, you could be pregnant. Now that he's your ex or that you haven't saved enough money or otherwise provided for a childs future is leading you to rationalize the outcome of what seemed a good idea at the time. Good Luck.

Go get a pregnancy test from the drug store and take it. From the symptoms, it does sound like you could be pregnant.

Sounds like you want to become a mommy. You are doing it right. And it sounds like you are getting anxious, and you should be. Why be with an "ex" anyways? He don't want you or a baby.
