In 1776 Britain lost the American War of Indepence. How would the World be now if Britain had won ?

Actually that war went on for another 8 years. They were still fighting in 1783. Even if Britian won, they would have eventually had to leave because of superior American numbers. They did fight again in 1812 you know. The world wouldn't have changed and since all our founding fathers were English or of English decent we would have always been allies.

then my country would be british owned, boy that would be horrible. I have to much pride to even think how it would be different if they won.
