No, having Ricky Ponting out won't stop Australia from winning the 20/20 World Cup --- and neither will Shane Watson's absence. With any luck, and through no disrespect to Ponting, this means Mike Hussey is going to get a big chance to go crazy and score fast amazing runs.

Not at all. Two people who have not shown their place in T20 are: M S Dhoni and Ricky Ponting. Both are not performing well as batsmen and as captains. It is their team mates who rescue their teams in the matches these nations have won so far. I think they have a long way to go to prove their captaincy in T20. While Ponting has proven his credentials in ODIs, the position Dhoni has attained in ODIs is pre-mature. It is better to rest him for a season and try Karthick as the wicket keeper. Dhoni has a long way to go....

Very honestly, Aussie Bowling didn't impress me much, After retirment of their leading bowlers, Their Bowling is now become weaker, Lee has lost his pace, Bowling dead strait. Other bowlers are also not impressive, Their Batting and fielding are best.....So absence of Ricky won't cost them anything, they are on the verge of losing....
