disagree! i had a 2000ex coupe. it did not have abs. it was an option that year. if it had abs i would still have it; it was a great car.

The 2000 Civic EX is the only model of that year that had anti-lock brakes as standard equipment in the U.S.

you can tell if it has ABS by putting your ignition key into the ignition and turning the key to the ON position so that the warning lights come on. You should see a yellow ABS light on the lower right side of the gauge cluster between the speedometer and the fuel gauge. Only cars that have ABS have the ABS warning lamp.

If the car is a 2000 EX it has ABS.
