my opinion on the 2 cup contenders are The Senators and The Red Wings, as of right now.

I'm goin to say NY Rangers. Not just b/c im a fan, but look how well they did last season. they made it to the 2nd round and got shafted at the last second by Buffalo. Now take Nylander away from the Rangers, which doesn't hurt them too much. Yes he was a great player to support Jagr, but he didnt shoot much. Now add Scott Gomez and Chris Drury to the Rangers and you have some SERIOUS potential to win the cup. Rangers defense is weak, but if Lundqvist can make up for it and play some stellar goaltending, it'll be Rangers 2008 Stanley Cup Champs!

(Hold it...the Caps? I think they'll win the Southeast, so that would make them a top 3 seed.)

dont think oilers there just doing good in the preseason cuz the teams dont have there real players plaing

I'm a Habs fan but.........Ottawa and Vancouver seem to be pretty much on top for now. Just as long as that cup comes back to CANADA!!
