They are the same width. The hashmarks are different width, but the overall field size is the same.

Football can be played on a variety of surfaces, including grass, dirt, and artificial turf. An NFL-regulation playing field measures 120 yd (110 m) long and 53 yd 1 ft (48.8 m) wide. At both ends of the 100-yd main body of the playing field, white lines called goal lines mark off the entrances to the end zones, which are 10 yd (9 m) deep. Each team defends one end zone. Lines parallel to the end zones cross the main body of the field at 5-yd (4.5-m) intervals. Sets of lines called the sidelines run along both sides of the field. In addition, two sets of short lines, called hash marks, run down the field at 1-yd (.9-m) intervals. The hash marks are 53 ft 4 in (16.3 m) from each sideline in high school football, 60 ft (18.3 m) in college football, and 70 ft 9 in (21.6 m) in the NFL. Does this help

Theres no difference in size, but I know what you mean, the field looks alot bigger. I remember watching the OSU Michigan game last year, and the field looked huge. In fact, every game I watch where my Buckeyes play at Ohio Stadium the field looks huge.

And to the guy who said NCAA stadiums have less seats, youre dead wrong. College stadiums hold alot more.

They are the same length and width. The NCAA hash marks are farther apart than they are in the NFL but feild size is the same.

The width of the field is the same for the two. However if your watching canadian football, they have a wider field.

every single football field is 100 yards long. as for width a lot of fields are different sizes. some are wider than others. it just kinda depends on how they build the stadium. like im pretty sure lambeau field is the widest idk what the measurements are though

Maybe it just seems that way because the players in the NFL are that much bigger you know like when you play basketball it seems like the court is huge or even when you watch your friends play it seems huge but when you watch an NBA game it seems tiny. it's all about relativity my friend.

Because their isnt much seats in the ncaa and it make the field looks bigger. and the nfl has lots of seat and makes the field looks smaller
