I predict the score will be 21-17, With Alex Smith having 250 yards and Frank Gore having over 200.

I'm goin' with the Steelers n this game. In this battle of the 2-0 teams, looks like Pittsburgh has the edge in this game. Take into consideration:
Roethlisberger's QB rating is currently 101.7 vs. Smith's 69.1.
Steelers have a few players that have scored TD so far this year. The 49er's Gore has scored 3 of the 4 team's TD.
The 49er's r still a young team, but they're gonna have 2 really bring it 2 even have a chance against the Steelers. Oh, home advantage just may be another factor that will give the Steelers the win.

im a pittsburgh fan, and Frank Gore is my fantasy RB.

im going with Pitt.

Pittsburgh is notorious for consistently having a superb run def, hence the steel curtain. although the term came around in the 70's, the curtain has never gone up.

Even if Frank Gore is successful, which i hope he is, the 49ers will need some miracles on defence. Roethlisberger has definitely shaken off the cobwebs of his motorcycle accident (the dumbass), and Willie Parker is proving his worth. In the end, if gore is successful and the defence for SF has a career day, Alex Smith could become the deciding factor.

but i doubt that.

Final Score: Pittsburgh: 45 San Fransisco: 20

I'm a long time Steelers fan, but I know for a fact that the 49ers are not a walk-over team. The Steelers haven't allowed a RB to gain more than 100 yards in quite some time, and I think that will be the deciding factor in this game. I also think that the new offense introduced by Arians has been effective and Roethlisberger looks better than ever. This is going to be a quality game to tune in for, but Pittsburgh is going 3-0 this weekend!

GO STEELERS!!!

If they game was in SF, I would put my money on SF. Gore has been hot lately and has been managing to carry his team. In saying this, Smith has been horrible and hasn't thrown a TD pass this year. I'm sure that won't change in this game.

I want the 49ers to win living in SF and all, but in all honestly Pittsburgh should win the game. Parker has been running wild and their DEF has stopped everybody in their path. With Smith not doing what he is capable of, the Pittsburgh DEF only really has to stop Gore. Its easier said than done, but it can be done.

I wouldn't expect a blow out like most people think. The 49ers DEF did stop the STL offense, and the AZ offense, who do have some good players. I would rather take Bulger, Jackson, Holt over Ben, Parker, and Ward anyday. I might expect a bit of a closer game than people think...

Sadly enough Pitt should win this game.

Good luck!!

Pittsburgh is at home. There defense is red hot and ranked 3rd right now. The 49ers offense is not that good to begin with, there passing game is horrible, and Gore has missed another practice also. The Steelers are coming off of another big win, and they want to make it known that they are back this year. I am looking for Ben to throw the ball 25-30 times this game and Willie Parker will get another 100 yard game. Alex Smith is in trouble in this game and the Steeler defense will put him in difficult situations.

I knew you had to be a Cowgirls fan. You Cowgirls followers have the nerve to call the Steelers warring parties vulnerable. Your team has performed 2 of the main pathetic communities interior the league and did no longer blow out the two one. The Steelers could deliver Tony Homo crying abode to his mamma. How ought to all people like a team that has Irvin_Cowgirl as a fan. She is the reason to hate the Cowgirls. Your Cowgirls are gonna lose to the Bears this weekend.
