Also, of which cannot be cured?

Someone who has difficulities with spelling told me this and I find it just a made-up excuse to laziness.

Can dyslexia be cured? And would it result in constant misspellings, or just a few?

I was just questioning him because he was so aggresively defensive which shows that he was, in fact, being lazy after all.

Yeah, dyslexia might do it.

Sometimes it can be cured with a huge amount of time and effort...but it tends to be a problem throughout life.

I'm an excellent speller...but I'm able to deal with it when people aren't.

Lighten up!

Dyslexia or stroke comes to mind. Some very smart people simply CANNOT spell, I've seen it in doctors as well as RNs, I am an RN, but I can spell!! LOL try to be more tolerant!

A very few people are dyslexic, the vast majority of bad spellers are lazy.
