Gosh, if it were, there may never be an end to a war. As long as it's kept going, the president would keep power.
Bad idea.

Definitely NOT!

Please don't give politicians yet another reason to get us into wars.

If anything, the Presidents term should be shortened when we get into a war, then we will know our involvement in the war is viewed as a needed action, and not as a political ploy.

Sounds like a great plan to encourage every outgoing president to go to war. And if we're in a state of "permanent war," as in the cold war or the war against terrorism, then, gosh, he'd just have to stick around forver and ever, wouldn't he?

HELL NO!!!!

We'd never get out of the damn war. If you left Bush in until this war was over you'd die of old age while he was still telling you progress was being made and he was sitting in a wheel chair.

May somebody have mercy upon your soul for even suggesting such a thing! Getting the man out of office is in the best interest of every American, including those who idolize him. The "Decider" is decidedly inept and must go!

only if there is a special prosecutor appointed to thoroughly investigate the many crimes of the president.

if he can keep himself out of jail, then he can ask the congress (nicely) to change the constitution to that end...
