I don't work since I don't have the time with school and I recieve aid. I don't go out with friends though or partake in other activities- I sit online for a few hours a day.
depending on my homework load I vistit this site.

a person can't just work and go to school all day- we all need some down time.
besides, I choose when to come on here. as I said if I'm busy I don't. with work you have set times that can't be changed if you don't feel well, if your professers all decided to assign a paper and now you have 5 of them due, or if the trains/buses are running late that day. (I commute by the way).

I know I'll pay back my loans and that my grants are going to good use.

I am a college student and I spend a little bit of time on here. Definitely not hours, just a few minutes because there is just so much hatred on Yahoo! Answers (Politics)

Maybe he or she is doing a thesis paper on the declining level of rational discourse in the United States.

If I wasn't so busy here, I might read it.
