yes and no. They pick a group of friends and set them up with a script, jobs and "boyfriends". Look at them, they're terrible actors.

Huh? Laguna Beach, CA is an awesome place. On TV of course not. Maybe that's where they tape it.

Do you notice when they talk to each other about stuff there is like 15 shots of each person just staring at the other and off into space..it cracks me up...they do this half smile trying to make it out like they are interested but they are not...it's great!

It's like they pay attention that the cameras are there and it makes them look like they planned out their talking and stuff.
