I just ordered a few hundred dollars worth of clothing and have been tracking it with the tracking number provided by fedex. I went to track the package today and it said it had been delivered and left on the doorstep. I left work to go get it and nothing was there. It did not require a signature so he should have left it reguardless. Is there any reason that the website says shipped and he may not have made it out there yet? is that a possibility? if not then i know someone took it off my pourch. in that case what happens? again it was about 300 dollars worth of clothing.

Fed-ex does strange things. I ordered some tools and they were to be shipped Fed-ex. I got a tracking number and it said they were shipped. Next day, the tracking said the number was not valid. Called Fed-ex and was told it was on-route and would be there on Thursday (this was a Monday). Tuesday, the items came via USPS. I asked the mailman and he said Fed-ex does this to save money. I don't understand it but at least I got my stuff.

Normally FedEx requires a signature for packages... but if the tracking number says it was delivered then it was... you could contact the local FedEx in your area to see who delivered it, or contact the seller... they probably put insurance on the package.

PS... if you think that it was delivered to the wrong address then you can most likely do a Claim with FedEx. Our company NEVER ships with them because they mess up so frequently.
