Well, I'm not/nor ever have been in that position however i come from a large family...wait out the pregnancy if you don't go into labor, because doctors aren't always exact on due dates... I would recommend you letting your doctor know about how you feel about inducing labor... but the final decision is up to you... don't worry everything will turn out great.

CONGRATULATIONS!

I don't think the doctor will induce you on Monday night, a friend of mine was due on 6/29 and didn't have her baby until 7/3 she asked to be induced on the second and they wouldn't let her. A couple of our other friends went past there due date as well and we noticed the doctors weren't letting them induce until about a week to a week and a half past their original due date. But hey it doesn't hurt to ask right? Maybe your doctor will let you induce on Monday...

Your Dr can only tell you whether or not he/she would agree to this. If you feel comfortable asking, then ask.

I understand your feelings, but know that every single woman feels like this at this point. Your baby will come very, very soon, regardless.

Being induced can make a much more intense labour...I know some women who have had to be induced (luckily, I'm not one of them...#1 came two days after due date, #2 one day after...maybe #3 will actually hit the date! :)), and they told me their spontaneous labour was not as intense.

There's no rush. Your baby is coming very soon. Take long walks, get some action from your husband/partner if you feel like it...

You know your body and your baby better then anyone. If the options available you might as well GET THAT SUCKER OUT! Good luck!

The pain shouldnt be the reason why you dont get induced, its going to hurt anyway. Unless its going to effect the baby's health then it shouldn't be an issue. The pain won't last for ever. Do what you feel is right!

Rest up!

I would stay away from drugs until they absolutely need them b/c the baby needs to come out. But, that's just me. Labor is more intense anyway, when induced, so why opt for that? It may happen naturally in a weeks time...

Most doctors make you wait the 7 days to ensure the fullest developement of the baby. Its just to be on the safe side, because you may have gotten pregnant a few days later than you thought you did.
I wouldn't hurt to ask.

i would try to do it without being induced my sister had 2 kids one was induced and the other she started walking every night at the end of her pregnant so she would go in to labor on her one and it was much better for her that time. try to walk alot this week to see if you can start it on your on, it will probably be much smoother it you do. good luck

The dr will not induce you because you want him to. He will not induce unless it is necessary or you are over due date

My sister had to be induced for one pregnancy and she said it was very painful compared to her other pregnancy which they just waited for the baby to come. Don't stress about it yet. Congrats on the new baby arriving SOON!!!! All the best.

Oh mate..I was 3 WEEKS overdue before I was induced!!!!
Your due date is only an estimate.
I don't think your GP will consider inducing you that soon.
