The ratings for that thing keep declining, so I must be on to something.

But more fundamentally, why is it that the very best shows on TV don't get any awards? This past season, the best shows on American TV were 'The Wire' from HBO, and 'Dexter' from Showtime. None got any awards.

The Emmys are as fake as the Grammys, aren't they?

I think those shows are a joke, just another chance for them to pat each other on the back and get more money

The Emmy's suck! Especially this year. It's ridiculous that they give an award to a show just because it was their last season. So what? They didn't give friends an emmy when they were all done.

I used to really enjoy watching but anymore, I don't know half the people nominated unless they are on a show I watch. I think it's all backstage politicing!
