I'm 35 and very petite and AE is one of the only stores that sells clothing in my size. They have some really nice sweaters and plain tops. Do you think it's okay for people over 30 to wear clothes from there?

Of course. If that is the style you like go for it! I have a friend who's mom still wears AE, Hollister, and all the up beat kids stores. She is petite and looks good in them. I say Go for it! :]

Yeah, there are some older people that come in to the store already wearing AE or wearing some Abercrombie and Hollister so it's definitely not unusual.

you can wear clothes from wherever you want. I think as long as you look respectful for your age it doesn't matter what the label says. My husband is 35 and has some AE clothes.

It is a free country. You could get jeans there and some clothes that don't say like AE or AMERICAN EAGLE across your bust.

It's OK to go anywhere! Don't listen to everyone else, if it fits, then buy it. It's tacky if you buy something with a logo on it, but other than that, you are fine.

Who cares what other people think. If you like the style, then go for it! I'm sure it'll look great.
