The Yankees are a better team than the Red Sox.
Just look at the games they played against each other.
10-8 Yankees
and the Sox can see them through their rear view.
Sox Rotation is a mess. Their Bullpen is a mess. Gagne trade was a horrible one; he blew 4 saves, now with 9.00 ERA!!!
Dice K is overpaid, doesnt scare anyone.
Who are their 2 best pitchers? Beckett and Buckholez? Please.

im a sox fan myself but i strongley agree with method i mean yankees did beat us fair and square this year but i think redsox is better because the fact that they got alot of talent and you can tell that they play as a team and also not to forget they got a couple players that has won a ring before and one of them of course is josh becket and basically the whole redsox team so i really think they are better in some way like playoffs for the past 3 years or something redsox has been a strong team coming to the playoffs and yankees get knocked out in the first round so yea i have the feeling that they will choke agaisnt there weakness and thats the angels

Yankees.
When a team is back 14 games and comes back to be 2.5 you KNOW that they are playing better ball.
Plus they have won thier last 8 of 10 against the Red Sox. Its a nobrainer they are the better team.

As a sox fan it pains me to say Yanks right now because boston's bullpen is pretty bad(hint hint Gagne YUK!!) and Wakefield, Lester and at times Dice-K are pitching really bad. Yanks pitching is coming together and their offense is best among all teams heading into the playoffs. All I can hope for as a sox fan is for Arod and the yanks pitching staff to collapse again in the playoffs like they have been doing the past several years.

who cares it's the best team or not. its about winning the world series. like the Tiger last year, it had the best record in that year. so?
who cares if a team is in the first place or not, if it cant win the world series, its a loser.
boston has the best record so far. you yankees are gonna lose. even though i dont like the red sox. Do you know Yankee is the team that has most people hate it?

Gee, this is a no-brainer. Yanks swept them and then won 2-3 in Boston. You can't beat the Yanks right now. Best team in Baseball.
