It is the hormones leaving her body. It should clear up in a couple of weeks. Don't worry it is completely normal.

I have a 4 month old daughter that had HORRIBLE baby acne. Everyone kept telling me the same thing (it's hormones, it'll go away, blah blah) but it stayed until 2 weeks ago. I tried everything...aquafor, eucerin, etc. but nothing worked until i started using Aveeno uncented for babies soap and lotion. It's almost completely changed the look and feel of her skin. I think it took about 4 days (bathing all 4 of those days) to see a difference. Good luck!!!

It's OK daddy. It's totally normal and it's called baby acne. It's caused by hormonal changes and every baby gets it around that age. Just leave it alone and it'll pass. I know, they are so perfect and cute for about a month and then all of a sudden they get this stuff. It'll go away soon, I promise. Congratulations

Relax!!! It's most likely caused from hormones being passed through the breastmilk. I have yet to meet a breastfed baby who doesn't have baby acne at one point or another - usually early. Your wife's body is still adjusting and hormones are leveling out - it all goes into the breastmilk.
Just leave her skin alone, bathe her as normal, don't put anything on them. Continue to moisturize after bathing and it will clear up on its own. I promise!!! Congrats!!!

Its very common in newborns! That is why they never use newborns on tv or in movies - they haven't overcome that infant stage with pink skinand blotches and acne.
Really you don't need to do anything. It will go away in time but if you think that you have to try something go to any pharmacy and get some lotin called "Aquaphor" It's a little like petroleum jelly in texture but it works wonders. My frined reccommended it for my baby and it worked! You can also use it on mom's breast, chapped lips and even some diaper rash.

I had that problem with my baby, too. Your wife could be eating something that the baby is allergic to. Since we breast feed wee have to watch what we eat. With me I think it was the egg, as soon as I stopped eating eat his little rash on his face went away. The Pedi-Doctor, told me to put 1% Hydrocortisone on his face. But you should ask you doctor before you try anything on the baby. Goodluck!!!!

Don't worry. Its normal. Its from the hormones baby's receive through you during labor/birth and through breast milk. They go away on their own. Don't use anything and don't pop them. Our little girl had them 2. Although I did pop her white heads on her nose against all advice. I tried hard not to but they drove me crazy. Ow well...she seems ok now. No more blemishes just smooth silky breastfed baby skin!

its normal and it will go away in a few weeks. Her skin is new, and her pores are starting to produce oils ect. They take a while to get it right, and babies break out. Its not an allergy, adn you don;t need to pick or scratch them. Let it be and care for her as usul.

Might not be acne, could be exzema. It is common in babies and children under 5. Also milk bumps... they are like acne, but clear on their own. Just call and ask the doctor. If he feels a need then you can take her in for a quick visit. And no, it is common for a 1st time parent to worry about everything! You are probably doing a fantastic job!

Completely normal! My little ones Dr. said they are nothing to worry about at all and usually clear up around 2 months. They are a little unpleasant looking but dont bother her at all. Trust me, she is just beautiful with or without them. Congrats on your new addition! :)
