Can this really be a serious question? Can anyone in this day and age still be so innocent and naive to ask a question such as this?
In case the answer to both my rhetorical questions is yes, then the answer to your question is: NO! They can't say it on TV if it isn't true!

As long as the people pay for the air time the TV stations don't care what they say, that's why they put the statement that they are not responsible for the claims made by those people!!
