how safe is it to buy a phone from china from unknown seller through internet. i am NOT buying from ebay but from other sites. I am paying using PAYPAL though. will that be safe transaction for me?? what should i do to make a safe transaction?

As long as you are using Paypal you should be OK!!!

There are many legitimate sellers in China operating via eBay and similar.

I recommend you check out their 'feedback rating' .. if they have > 1,000 transactions and > 98% they should be OK to deal with (even so, check the actual bad feedback .. some scam artists are more patient than others .. it's not too difficult to build up a lot of positive feedback 'selling' 1p 'ebooks' .. and then switch to £100 mobile phones and never deliver one ..)

If there is no independant 'feedback' system (where other buyers post comments) don't use that site..

i have bought items from china via ebay paypal no problems. but i returned a faulty mp3 player, no replacement arrived and the user is no longer listed with ebay. paypal no help. be a bit careful and try to see other customer reviews on the company. good luck

EVERYTHING that I've gotten from China and Southeast Asia online... Have either stolen my money, or sent me fake merchandise. Every time!
