I really need to start a new anime. Please give me some suggestions. I have already seen Naruto, Marmalade Boy, Fruits Basket, Ouran High School Host Club, Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, Fushigi Yuugi, and Gakuen Alice.
I'd like you to give me your top ten choices, in order if possible. I'm sorry if this takes you a little longer than you'd like, but please give me a few details about each that you reccommend.
I animes with romance, comedy, and a little action doesn't hurt. I really really really liked Naruto, Ouran Host Club and Fruits Basket!!!!!!!!!!

1. Fooly Cooly(FLCL) - My Fav. very crazy comedy/romance/ sci-fi/ action some people say the best anime made.
2. Cowboy Bebop - Great plot and sitcom-ish layout very dynamic characters and widely considered the best anime made.
3. Azumanga Daioh - Not much action but pure comedy random plots that tie together good. In essence a day by day look into the characters life's.
4. Tenchi Muyo - Very good show fits in with your taste with naruto and inuyasha. Another of my Fav. shows
5. Excel Saga - Very very crazy show it has what you like but it is bizarre.
6. Tenjou Tenge - Action drives this one but comedy and romance is there too.
7. Maburaho - I haven't got to finish this one myself but I liked it so much i am recommending it. It has a very interesting twist early in the series that makes it different than most.
8. His and Her Circumstances - A lot of people don't stick with this because it is slow no action at all but it is a very good show.
9. Ranma 1/2 - One of the shows that a lot of the newer shows copy. Classic show
10.DearS - Very good show interesting characters and interactions.

Full Metal Alchemist is well known by many to be a great anime and it lives up to its hype so this is a must see. (51 Episodes, 2 Movies)
Bleach is also a popular show and once again this is a great anime to get into. (More then 100 episodes I havent finished watching the series)
Ok those are the top 2 I reccomend other good ones I've seen include FLCL, Elfen Lied, Onegia Teacher, Trigun, Gundam Seed and that's all I can think of at the moment.

I think my fav is Dragonball but im sure u don't wont a full on action anime and the only real romance anime i love is...

Dark was created by "The Black Wings", a very large piece of artwork, along with Krad. Krad is the complete opposite of Dark, and is from the Hikari family like Dark is to the Niwa family.

1) Ayashi no Ceres-
By the author of Fushigi Yugi. Romance, a bit of action, and a tiny bit of comedy here and there. I am not done yet, but I love it so far.
2)Karin/Chibi Vampire
Absolutely hilarious, with romance too. About a vamp. who gets massive nosebleeds when she doesn't bite someone.
3)Bleach-
Mostly action (and I am a romance girl), but I can't get enough of it.
4)D.N. Angel-
Shounen, but I love it all the same!
5) Chobits-
I watched this years ago, and remember it being very perverted, but I think I liked it a lot.

If you like romance, look for the manga for Train_Man (Look for Densha Otoko, and you can probably download it somewhere.) and Ichigo 100%
Again, Train_Man and Ichigo 100% are manga, not anime.

Buy or rent some movies by Hayao Miyazaki-"Princess Monoke","Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle" to name a few.He is the master of anime.

~Sunako used to be a normal girl until she got dumped "I dont like ugly girls"-u'll hear that alot
so her aunt(rich and pretty)trys to make her into a lady again. She hires 4 handsome boys to make her into a lady(in exchange they live in a mansion and get free rent)its rly funny-the manga is even better.
