how many cubic meters is a box with dimensions 0.45m x 0.3m x 0.15m? and how did you work it out?

if i multiply by 100 i get cubic centimetres, which would be 2.025cm3
yet 45cm x 30cm x 15cm = 20250
if i divide by 100 i get cubic metres, which would be 202.5 m3

which is right and where is my logic failing me?
