As an African American woman I think that our country has come along way from the days of degrade another. It most so saddens me that these type of racial remarks come from someone inside our very own race. How are we suppose to progress as a people when we tear our own selves down and then cry when others treat us the way we treat ourselves. If someone from another race group would have said something racially offense to him he probably try to call Al Sharpton and try to do what the victim is doing here. We have to constantly come across these issues that we should be long past as a society. As I sit in Iraq serving and trying to assist in the safety of this nation. I hear things like this still going on back home.

i do no longer know. Spanish men are no longer a race so i assume you're speaking approximately white spanish men. White men created colour-ism. They began the full easy dermis is extra perfect. White females have been continually held in a severe esteem. The media nonetheless sends subliminal messages with white females continually held because of the fact the main perfect females. This has affected the psyche of black men and females. extraordinarily in American society the place lighter dermis blacks are dealt with extra perfect than darker. Even as we communicate, the few black those that are wide-unfold in mainstream are the lighter dermis/mulatto blacks. So i does no longer say that white spanish men are extra accepting. seem at everywhere interior the international the place Eurpoeans have colonized faster or later. India has a similar concern. They desire lighter dermis Indians over the darker ones. whilst black human beings and/or human beings of colour can unfastened their minds and shed insecurities then perhaps there does no longer be a colorism concern in our community. yet as long as we live under a white majority there'll continually be some brainwashed persons.

Whether I agree with him or not is irrelevant. He is entitled to feel that way. He has freedoms and rights, and I respect those rights.

The fact that a public figure would say something like this to the press is proof that Thomas is not the sharpest pencil in the box. He had to know that his comment would cause a stir. But he can say whatever he wants.

ANY man calls me or my daughters the b-word, and he'll have heck to pay for it!! :-)

Its pretty pathetic that men (boys at heart) have the idea that denegration counts less if the person doing it looks like you. Seems to me, that IF he wanted to make distinctions, he'd find it more offensive coming from a Black man who has a Black mother, aunts and sisters... *rolling eyes*

What an idiot!

I think ****** are more racist than any race.

If 6 whites gang up and beat on a *****, they march.

If 6 ****** gang up and beat on a white prson, they still march.

We rest your honor!!! Point Well made!!!

I think his comments are reflective of the way most black men think and behave. Whatever they do is supposed to be OK.
